Dia daoibh! Is mise Miriam. I am a primary school teacher and Irish language tutor with over 15 years of experience teaching across Ireland, the UK, and beyond.

My journey with the language began as a child growing up in Ireland surrounded by Irish culture, music, and dance.

I went on to graduate from Mary Immaculate College with a B.Ed in Primary Education and a subject specialisation in the Irish language. Having spent multiple years teaching in a Gaelscoil, I developed a passion for merging education with the Irish language in a way that is engaging and accessible.

Everyone has their own unique way of learning. My goal is to move you from struggling with the language to speaking it with confidence.

I offer 1:1 tailored lessons designed to build fluency and enjoyment.

• For school students (Primary & Secondary): From making Gaeilge fun for beginners, to providing comprehensive oral, written, and listening support for Junior and Leaving Cert exam students.

• For Future Teachers: Specialised support for teacher training, including TEG (B1) and PME/ Hibernia preparation, student placement guidance, and interview prep.

• For Parents & Adult Learners: Whether you are starting from scratch or want to brush up on your Irish to help your children with their education, I provide a supportive environment to learn.
